Chicago CPR Class

William Buffington

Bill has been a firefighter and paramedic for over 10 years, and has been an American Heart Association CPR instructor for just as long. Having studied Disaster Management at Benedictine University as well as Business Management, Bill also teaches disaster / emergency preparedness classes called "Are You Ready?" sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) throughout the Chicago area and now offers these classes at Chicago CPR Now. In 2006 Bill won the American Heart Association Hero Award for excellence in training and education by making an impact on community involvement. Bill had been teaching at Chicago CPR Now for a short while, when the opportunity to take over operations at Chicago CPR Now presented itself, Bill decided to continue to provide the friendly, stress free, learning opportunities that Chicago CPR Now has formed.
